Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met by an African Ambition Tours representative and transferred to your hotel where the remainder of the day is at leisure – rest in your room, enjoy a swim in the pool or explore Arusha and the surrounding areas on one of our day tours, the choice is yours.

Today after breakfast you will drive to Tarangire National Park with lunch boxes. The drive to Tarangire National Park is about 110 Km and takes about 2 hours from Arusha
Tarangire National Park is a huge park best known for its large herds of elephants, but it’s also great for lion and leopard — wonderful for bird life — great variety of landscape and wildlife. The gorgeous Silale Swamp, towards the south of the park, is magnificent — and almost always rich in wildlife taking advantage of this reliable water source. The park provides water not only from the swamp, but also from the Tarangire River — and during the dry season it’s the primary source of water for animals from the entire area, making for fantastic viewing.
You will have your lunch in the park (your driver guide will pick a picnic site in the park where you can your lunch and thereafter continue with the game drive. Parks normally the parks open at 6:00 am to 6:00 pm – you will be at your next lodge in time for dinner.

Before sunrise around 6 am we leave the lodge for early morning game drive. Sunrise and sunset are good times to see wildlife, as this is when they are most active. You enjoy beautiful sunrise at endless plains of the Serengeti and a game drive. We go back to the lodge around 8 or 9 am and to have breakfast. You have a choice to go to a full day game drive with lunch boxes after breakfast or stay the lodge and relax after lunch then go for a evening game drive around 3 pm. We hope to find wildlife such as Lions, Hyenas, Leopards, Cheetahs etc and also other members of the BIG 5. We come back to the lodge around 6 pm for dinner.
Before sunrise around 6 am we leave the lodge for early morning game drive. This is generally the best time to spot the wildlife, as the temperature is cool and the animals are still very active, including the big cats, which will be returning from a night of hunting.
You will then drive back to the lodge for a leisure breakfast followed by a pure relaxation break. You will then go for another game drive and sunset viewing over the Serengeti and then drive to Ngorongoro where you will stay for the night

After an early tea/coffee you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater. This Crater is the world’s largest intact collapsed caldera (volcano) which is a self-contained ecosystem with its own unique population of wildlife in a confined area of amazing variety.
The crater boasts lots of lions, hyena, fantastic bird-life, serval, Cape buffalo, zebra and gorgeous landscapes – Also there is an added advantage of seeing Rhino’s, if you are lucky.
You will have your lunch in the Crater and then continue with the game drive.

Lake Manyara National Park is the oldest and most popular sanctuaries in East Africa. The main habitats include the shallow soda lake itself which occupies 70% of the National Park total area of 320 sq km, the ground water forest, open grassland, acacia woodland and the rift wall.
The most famous spectacle in the park is the tree-climbing lions, which are occasionally seen along branches of acacia trees. Other animals found in the park include buffalo, elephants, leopards, baboons, impala, giraffes, zebra, wildebeest, ostrich and hippos. Popularly referred to as an ornithologist’s paradise, Lake Manyara National Park contains over 400 bird species found in most savanna and river habitats in East Africa.
After the game drive you will enjoy a Cycling tour through MtowaMbu Village where you will experience local life and enjoy the sights and sounds of this vibrant town before riding to a Mama’s house where you will feast on a traditional Tanzanian meal. Please note: this is a half day tour which runs in conjunction with a half day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park.

This turquoise water natural swimming pool is a perfect half day trip from Arusha. Located approximately 1 and half Hrs drive from Arusha town is Chemka; the hot springs. Hidden in the beautiful green forest lie natural hot springs, ideal for taking a relaxing dip or simply to use as a backdrop for a tranquil picnic at the water’s edge, swim in the beautiful clear waters, relax in the hot springs or explore the surrounding areas, there is something for everyone If lucky, you may be able to spot some baboons hanging in the tree-tops above you. You will then drive to the Airport for your onward flight to Zanzibar

Today is a leisure, exploring the beach Nungwi is one of the most popular beaches on Zanzibar and that is for a good reason. Unlike the rest of the island, Nungwi is blessed by not having to deal with high and low tides. Perfect place if you are looking to swim around the clock without have to walk far out to sea to chase the ocean mile away.
Nungwi is also known for party atmosphere, yet it’s not to be compared with typical party beach destinations elsewhere in the world.

Today is your final safari day. You will enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then depending on your departure flight, you will be driven to Zanzibar airport for your onward flight.
